Baron

Good evening my cherished friends,
I am just now returning from the ranch and felt it to be almost surreal-this whole experience.
First of all, I am so very grateful for all of you. I feel so incredibly blessed to have each and every one of you in my life. The outpouring of the most incredible love within our group is so very special-and sacred. I simply wanted to acknowledge this and thank God for such a beautiful group of friends.
MAN-This has been one heck of a week....
From our beloved David, diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his brain, enduring the 6 hour surgery- and being able to go home soon- to complete his healing- is such an incredible blessing from God.
To my beloved horse, Baron- who suddenly fell into the life threatening colic situation at twilight, last evening. And sudden it was...Britt gently rode him bareback (walk, trot and mild canter) in the field. After riding, we groom him and massage him. I chant the Shanti Mantra and prepare him for a restful night, before we bring him back to pasture- where he then receives fresh water, organic apples and his alfalfa hay. But something went wrong last night.
* All of the sudden, while we were grooming him, his head fell and legs started shaking. He was totally unresponsive- and I knew....OMG....stay calm Mom....Britt had several friends around her - and we had to act -fast. I said in the calmest voice i know..."OK, girls....we need to remain calm, collected and act fast. Britt- you go and get the owners of the ranch (Nancy, Joann and Bill), to Britt's friends I told them to get the barn helpers and get the Vet to come out NOW. Baron is going into colic. We need to keep him up, and walking.
And, I am so proud of everyone who helped to make this happen. On a Friday night, in LA- traffic is your worst nightmare- especially for a Vet who is responding to a 911 colic horse call- the owner of the horse- and the horse himself.
I walked him for 45 minutes- chanting the Shanti Mantra, and the Siri Gaitri Healing Mantra. With my rudrashka beads in hand, began to feel his pain- and to send immense healing.
The vet came.
This procedure includes- the Vet's entire arm (with a long glove) inserted into the rectum of a horse, manipulating the colon- and detecting where a blockage is. Next, a very long tube in inserted up the nasal cavity, flushed with purified water, then with mineral oil.
I continued softly chanting, gently massaging my Baron-during the whole procedure. Both Vet's working on him said they have never seen anything like this- and to please continue with this chanting and massaging- because it was very effective in helping him to calm down.
And, the Vet wanted Baron in a stall. DONE. But it was filthy. So, I began to work as fast as I could to strip it, cobwebs, old bedding, water basin. You name it- with rake and shovel- I transformed this large stall into the most luxurious La Costa Resort.
Baron went in and we stayed there until he could go to the bathroom. I must tell you, I have never been so grateful to see "poo" in my life. I just cried with gratitude.
Britt and I got home at 11:45 pm, last night.
And, back to the ranch asap-this morning... Baron was dehydrated. So, hanging a large bucket of purified water, with electrolytes- he began to drink- slowly. He now eats a diet of Timothy hay. We have been with him all day....gently walking, lots of massage and chanting, sponging his eyes and body, feeding timothy and praying.
and you know what... we did not have put him down...
The Vet's on call were totally amazed.
It worked...I am just so, so grateful.
Thank you for all of your prayers, meditations and healing energy.
I am just so very grateful for all of you-
and for David
for having such an incredible light of God with Britt
and of course for the miracle of our healing energy.
Thank you for helping me to heal Baron. He reminds me so much of Deepak in so many ways, and I cherish him deeply.
I wish you all a beautiful night.
Love and many blessings,
Heather
